I want to thank everyone that made the 6hr drive to Rapid City for our party. Hope you all had a good time, (from what I gathered everyone did). I'll have to say it wasn't the biggest party that I have ever been too, but it was damn fun..:) Definatly one of the better parties that I have been to.

From what I have heard from people, they all thought all the DJ's kicked ass. I have heard alot of postive feedback about all that crazy ass shit that DMX pulled..:). I don't know why I haven't heard of this guy soon, but I really suggest you all check him out. He's really good. I was a bit curious to see what was going to happen to the dance floor when THC went on since he was spinning jungle I didn't know what the kids would think.

I have heard people say that THC was one of their favorite DJ's. I'll have to say though that I'm really not a big fan of Jungle, but THC has some phat tracks that got my ass out on the dance floor. I have also had alot of comments about THC's mix of the beetles at the end of his set, which was also very nice. If your looking for a jungleist, check this kid. Email me if you want contact info.

I also want to say that all the other DJ's did a very nice job. Thanks J.Love, Ishe, Slippy. I would also like to thank the 2 DJ's that took over our open tables slots at the end. Danny Q and Pharoah.

One thing that you might all find funny, (which I didn't think was very funny at all when the guy walked in the door). The building we got has 2 sides that you can rent (this place would rock for a 2 room party). We rented out the big side, and some other guy rented out the other side the same night for get this, a Square Dance. Yup, we're in SD..:). Anyways, Jay talked to him and was like...Uh..are you guys going to be loud. His responce was ya. Jay then said.."Ok, we are going to be really loud." The guys responce was, "Thats ok, we'll just turn it up to drown you out." I found that funny since we were pushing 5000 watts. So the down side of the whole deal was that we had to keep it quite for my set and J.Love's set. Some square dancers came over durring my set and said "Can you turn it down, we can't hear our caller." I didn't even have it at 1/2 power..:)

One other thing that I found weird, but I'm not complaining is that the cops NEVER stoped by all night. They left us alone the entire time.

I also want to tell all the DJ's our orginal plan for when they showed up. We were going to have on our stack of cinder blocks instead of 1200's 2 old ass belt driven tables w/o pitch control and tell them "Ya, welcome to SD, our 1200's fell through, but we got these." We had enough stuff to worry about though besides April Fools jokes, so we didn't do that..:)

I would like to thank agian everyone who came out and supported us, and showing the kids around here what a party should be like. THANKS!
